PENDIDIK, ORIENTASI DAN CRITICAL THINKING: PERGESERAN PARADIGMA DALAM MENGHADAPI TANTANGAN BARU DI ERA AI
Main Article Content
Abstract
The era of artificial intelligence (AI) has triggered a fundamental shift in the educational paradigm, requiring educators to adapt their approach to building critical thinking skills among students. This article analyzes the shift in the role of educators from mere transmitters of knowledge to facilitators who guide students in dealing with the complexities of the AI-based information era. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach in several educational institutions that have integrated AI technology in the curriculum. The results show that educators need to develop collaborative teaching strategies, technology literacy, and critical analysis to equip students with the ability to face global challenges. However, challenges such as inequality of access to technology, pedagogical readiness, and threats to humanist values in education are still obstacles that must be overcome. This article recommends strategic steps, including educator training, AI-integration-based curriculum development, and a balanced approach between technology and humanist values. These findings are relevant in efforts to create an adaptive, inclusive, and future-oriented education
